Rèm cuốn tự động là loại rèm cuốn có tính năng điều khiển từ xa. Với loại rèm cửa thông minh này, vải rèm có thể tự cuốn lên và hạ xuống bằng điều khiển từ xa.
Vải rèm cuốn tự động có thể làm bằng nhiều chất liệu khác nhau: Vải phủ nhựa, cản sáng tuyệt đối; Vải cuốn lưới; cản sáng 80% – 100% hoặc vải rèm cầu vồng. Rèm cuốn tự động thường dùng trong các công trình cao cấp có các vách kính cao và rộng như: Showroom Auto, Trung tâm thương mại, sảnh phòng họp hoặc rèm biệt thự, rèm penhoues.
Với loại động cơ chính của rèm thì cũng sẽ có hai bộ điều khiển rèm khác nhau. Nó được chia thành 2 phần khác nhau như sau:
- Phần thứ nhất: Bộ điều khiển này phải cần một bộ điện kiêm thu nhận tín hiệu. Nó được gắn với các động cơ. Bộ phận này giúp cho người sử dụng có thể dùng để điều khiển trực tiếp rèm. Nó giống như quá trình bạn tự mình đi thu rèm lại vậy. Bộ điều khiển này còn được gọi là bộ điều khiển từ xa.
- Phần thứ hai: Đó chính là chiếc điều khiển cầm nay. Đối với chiếc điều khiển cầm tay này bạn có thể điều khiển nó trong phạm vi hàng trăm mét. Bộ điều khiển này sử dụng phạm vi tần số cao nên nó có thể xuyên tường được.
